The map below shows the Iowa STORET / WQX professional water quality monitoring sites in the "21IOWA Organization" category.
When a point on the map is clicked, a small window appears revealing detailed site information, including a link to the
STORET data retrieval system
through the STORET ID (unique identification number for each site).
This feature is an easy way to extract site-specific data from the STORET water quality database if you know the sampling site location and don't know the STORET ID.
Zoom in / out using the slide bar in the upper left portion of the map.
You can also hold down the "Shift" key on your keyboard and drag a box with your mouse.
Pan by using the corners of the map or by clicking with your left mouse button, holding down, and sliding over.
Click the Map and Satellite buttons in the upper right corner of the map to change your background data layers.
