Nishnabotna River There are two reports which cover the Nishnabotna River valley. Details of the stratigraphy, water availability, water use, and water quality can be found in a USGS Water-Resources Investigations Report (WRI 91-4156, Abstract), prepared in cooperation with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Geological Survey Bureau. The Geological Survey Bureau completed a more detailed report covering water quality monitoring in the Nishnabotna alluvium in 1987 (GSB Open File Report 88-1, Abstract).
