RAGBRAI 2013 “LEARN ABOUT THE LAND” BROCHURES NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE

RAGBRAI 2013 day one "Learn About The Land" brochure.
For the ninth year in a row, RAGBRAI enthusiasts can “Learn about the Land” during the 2013 Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa. A seven-day set of RAGBRAI brochures produced by the Iowa Geological & Water Survey, U.S. Geological Survey, and Iowa Limestone Producers highlights the land, history, parks, and other natural wonders that cyclists will encounter on their quest across the state. This year’s route will cross over several of Iowa’s major Landform Regions, with the bulk of the ride over the rolling hills of the Southern Iowa Drift Plain; so riders should be prepared for some serious climbing in and out of valleys. Maps and cross sections included in the seven-day series will help participants locate nearby parks, cities, and landmarks.
